PET TALK: Meet “Gunner” and “Ginger”
Tonight belongs solely to the cats. We are featuring two felines, one of which has already made their ‘Pet Talk’ debut.
First we have Gunner. A black and white short haired cat that is one of the most social and loving cats I have ever met. All he want to do is be around people. He was given up by his owners because of their allergies and has been at the shelter for two months. His age is unknown but he still acts somewhat like a kitten. He enjoys playing with toys and get along with other cats. Gunner would make for the perfect cat companion. He is neutered and ready to be adopted.
Next we have Ginger. A cat we already have featured here on pet talk, but desperately needs to find his forever family. An orange domestic short hair. His age is unknown but he is an adult weighing about 11 pounds. Not a big fan of being held, Ginger enjoys playing with toys and being fed. He seems to like other cats, but would do just fine with being the only animal in the home. It takes some time for him to warm up to you, but once he does, consider him attached. If you are the type of person who wants an independent feline companion, Ginger is your guy. He is neutered and has been shelter for two months.
If you are interested either Gunner or Ginger, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday and for more details you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @MadisonKyma
