Mexicali high school student murdered
A Mexicali high school student was shot and killed near his home last Friday.
The slain student was studying at COBACH Vasconcelos preparatory school who at the time of his death wore his school uniform.
Raúl Valderrain Quijada was arriving at his place of residence locat ed in the Urbi Villa Toledo neighborhood when he was killed in a surprising and atrocious way.
The suspect, whose identity is unknown, shot towards the vehicle of Quijada. The young man was injured in the nape of the neck, this being the bullet of entry and exit in the part of the chin, as reported by David Lozano, Coordinator of Special Investigations of the Attorney General of the State of Baja California.
The attack occurred from vehicle to vehicle. The victim did not have any criminal background and was a student with good behavior and good grades, as reported by the Director of High School Amparo Pelayo, who ruled out the victim of having any sort of enemy.
The bullet impacts still remain on the walls of the fractionation as well as flowers and lit candles which honor the student’s death.
