Man shot in leg during LV shooting stands to greet President Trump in hospital

LAS VEGAS- A man who was shot in the leg during the Las Vegas shooting stood to greet President Donald Trump during a hospital visit this week.

Thomas Gunderson got out of his bed when the President and First Lady Melania came into his room. He shared a video on his Facebook page that got over 20 million views. Gunderson wrote, “I will never lie down when the President of this great country comes to shake my hand! There may be plenty of issues in this country, but I will always respect my country, my president, and my flag. Shot in the leg or not, I will stand to show my President the respect he deserves.” President Trump replied, “This guy looks tough to me.”
