Armed robbery at Burlington Coat Factory Wednesday afternoon

The Yuma Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Burlington Coat Factory at around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect fled the scene in a white Pontiac Bonneville, last seen heading towards 4th Avenue.

A YPD officer spotted the white Pontiac crossing the Ocean to Ocean Bridge into California and the officer notified Quechan Police Department and Imperial County Sheriff’s Office about the car entering California.

The suspect collided with another vehicle in the 100 block of South Main Street leading the suspect to flee on foot.

The suspect, 23-year-old Kiko Luna, was found and taken into custody. Luna will be booked on multiple charges.
