Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price has resigned. Price has been under fire for using taxpayer money lavishly by using private jets for trips. According to reports Price used private jets to fly for meetings and in some cases the flights were short within driving distances. Officials reported that some of the flights cost taxpayers thousands of dollars.
On Thursday, Price said he would pay some of those travel expenses back, offering a check for nearly $52,000.
