Victims robbed at gunpoint while sitting in parked car

Officers responded to an armed robbery call near Netwest Park in the 1100 Block of S. 14th Avenue at around 10:08 p.m. Tuesday.

The initial investigation showed three subjects approached a parked vehicle and threatened the occupants with a handgun. One of the subjects demanded money.

Two of the suspects are described as being Native American males, approximately 17-20 years of age, one being heavy set and the other male being thin. The third suspect was described as a Native American female, approximately 16-18 years old, wearing blue capris and a black shirt.

A neighbor says he walked outside to see what was going on.

“I came outside my house and I saw all kinds of police right here. Everywhere! There was a lot of them and one of them came up to me and asked me if I had seen anything. I told him I didn’t. But he told me that it was two guys and a girl. I feel bad because my wife lives here and my step son lives here and I don’t want anything to happen to them,” said Alejandro Bracamontes.

There have been no reported injuries regarding the incident. The suspects fled the scene and have not been located at this time.
