PET TALK: Meet “Colonel” and “Snow”
It’s Friday and what better way to start off your weekend then with cute adoptable animals. We introduce you to a white long haired cat named Snow and active American pitbull named Colonel.
First up is Snow. A large adult male cat. His age is unknown but he was surrendered by his owners due to them not having enough time for him. He deserves a family that will give him tons of love and attention. Quick on his feet, snow loves to explore…however also has a more subdued side where he just like to chill out. He would do best in a single family home and he has been at the shelter since august.
Next we have Colonel, a medium sized American pitbull terrier with energy to burn. Great on a leash, he would be amazing for a family with an active lifestyle. He’s super loving, but a bit scattered at times. Colonel likes to be in charge, if you couldn’t tell by his name so it’s important he go to a family without any other animals. He was found a stray by the Quechuan tribe and brought to the shelter back in July.
If you are interested in Snow or Colonel, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday. For more information you can visit Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @Madisonkyma.
