AMBER Alert children could be in Arizona, in danger

UPDATE:

The children and their mother have been located in Lancaster, California and are safe! The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said detectives are currently investigating the details regarding their disappearance.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: An AMBER Alert was issued this morning for three children believed to be abducted. There’s the potential they could be driving through Arizona with a 28-year-old woman, according to Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say 9-year-old Lloyd Wyatt, 8-year-old Lakai Wyatt, and 6-year-old Lexxington Wyatt went missing from Albuquerque on Sunday morning.

The 28-year-old woman, idenitified as Laria Walker-Anderson, could be armed with a .45-caliber handgun, according to officials. The three children are in “imminent danger”.

The AMBER Alert became active in Arizona on Sunday around 11:55 a.m., the suspect was last seen driving westbound Interstate 40 near State Route 95, near Lake Havasu City.

Walker-Anderson is described as 5 feet 4 inches, weighing 132 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Deputies say the suspected vehicle is a silver 2009 Kia Spectra, with a New Mexico Chile plate: “AAYR80.”

The children are described as:

Lloyd is 3 feet 6 inches weighing 65 pounds and was last seen wearing “Despicable Me” pajama pants with long dreadlocks.

Lakai is 3 feet 6 inches, also 65 pounds last seen wearing gray pajama pants with short dreadlocks.

Lexxington is 3 feet tall and weighs 50 pounds last seen wearing white and yellow shorts.
