Yuma Jaycees and Silver Spur Rodeo unite for Harvey
The Silver Spur Rodeo, Inc. and Yuma Jaycees, Inc. are holding a relief drive for those affected by the hurricane in Texas. Donations are being accepted now at the Yuma Jaycee Clubhouse (2577 E. County 14th Street (leave on patio), Fisher Ram, Boot Barn, The Mineshaft, Showcase Lounge, Alabaster Cleaning and Maintenance (2640 E. 14 th St, two blocks E. of Sam’s Club) and in the Phoenix area at JRMcDade Company, Inc. (4317 E. Broadway Rd. Monday thru Friday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) through September 16, 2017.
On September 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. members of the organizations will be at Jaycee Clubhouse, Fisher Ram, Boot Barn, both Tractor Supply Store locations and Yuma Palms Mall in the roundabout area collecting donations from those who would like to drop off that day.
Ruan Transportation has donated the use of a truck to haul the donations to Texas where they will be delivered to Texas Jaycees or former members of the Yuma Jaycees living in the areas, for distribution.
