2017 San Felipe Ceviche Fest

The 2017 San Felipe Ceviche Festival is just around the corner. The 7 th annual one day event will feature live music with bands such as, “Grupo Mocca”.

There will also be a “Best Ceviche” contest in which 30 participants will compete for the $250 dollars cash prize . Three renowned Baja chefs will select the winner.

The festival kicks off the beginning of the tourism season in San Felipe.

If you don’t know what ceviche is don’t worry we’ll fill you in. Ceviche is a traditional Mexican dish with fresh fish in lime juice, tomatoes, onions and many other vegetable and spices.

Tourism Director of Mexicali Omar Dipp shares his enthusiasm,

“Bring down your family and have a great ceviche down in San Felipe…”

The event will take place on September 2 nd from 12pm to 9pm .
