Service interruption to a major power line
Service interruption to a major power line has caused a power outage to hundreds of customers in Yuma Tuesday night.
The power interruption is near County 9 & 1/2 St. to Gila Ridge Rd. and 6 1/2E to 8E as of 10:30 p.m. Service interruption knocked out power for more than 700 APS customers in the area. APS reports that the casue stems from equipment problems.
Maintenance crews are on the scene. According to APS, power is expected to be restored by 3 a.m.
