PET TALK: Meet “Cuddles” and “Saffron”

In tonights edition of Pet Talk, we meet two animals that have been at the shelter before, but deserve a second chance at finding their forever homes. First up is Cuddles. She is a one and half year old tortoiseshell cat. We have featured a variety of “torties” on Pet Talk before, but none like miss Cuddles. She is a more subdued cat that is sure to warm up to you with some time. She can be quite shy, but still on the friendly side. She weighs about 10 pounds and is a ball of fluff. She first arrived at the shelter back in February and was immediately adopted, however her owners decided to give her up due to their allergies. It is best she goes to a family without canines, however other cats should be fine. She is a special Cat that deserves a stable and loving home. Next we have Saffron. A striking pitbull that is as fun and as loving as she can be. Saffron’s great because she knows when to play, yet she knows when to be more relaxed and subdued. She was a stray found in Yuma in march of this year and got adopted, however her owners returned her because she is quite the escape artist, so if you are interested in Saffron make sure your home and backyard area is securely fastened. She weighs a solid 72 pounds, but her size doesn’t stop her from enjoying a good snuggle here and there. Saffron gets along with other canines, its just important that she be introduced to them prior to adoption. If you are interested in Cuddles or Saffron, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday and for more details you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @MadisonKyma.
