Grieving mother speaks out on loss of her son

A grieving mother is asking the community of Salton Sea Beach for help so that she can bury her son.

News 11’s Nico Payne spoke to the mother of Adam Hall who was murdered on July 3rd.

She shared how she felt the night all suspects were caught along with a message she has for them.

“The back of the picture says Adam, you are in control of your future, make good choices. And that was Kathy, his teacher,” Said Linda Walker, victim’s mother.

Linda walker shared memories of her son and what he loved about life.

“He loved Disneyland and he also loved universal,” added Walker.

After the discovery of Adam’s body, police had arrested three people but were looking for a fourth suspect who Walker believed was the main person responsible for her son’s death. Walker says she still has many questions.

“I don’t know why they did this to him, but that’s what i would ask him. Plain out, why did you kill him? And the way you killed him, I mean apparently they hit him, they beat him first, and then stabbed him, and then used the extension cord to cut his throat,” explained walker.

Armando Taylor was caught on Saturday July, 15th in Indio, California.

“The U.S. Marshals called me at 11:30 Saturday evening and told me that he had been arrested. I wanted him to be caught and he was, I was scared because I was scared that he would come back and try to kill me,” said Walker.

Walker tells us her son would have been 39 years old this year, now she is left with the task of trying to raise funds to put her son to rest.

“For Adam Walker, cremation are needed. We appreciate your help and kindness, thank you. Linda walker,” read Walker.

Walker has placed these donation jars around the Salton Sea community and has set up a go fund me page to help with funeral costs.

“He loved everybody, he helped anybody, he would help anybody that asked him for something. And I don’t know why they did this to him,” added Walker.

All four suspects were believed to be Adam’s friends and will face felony charges including murder with malice.
