Military Matters: Desert Southwest key to future of weaponry
It’s the evolution of the smart bomb; munitions designed to be more accurate and efficient. The latest report from Russell Collins a leader in Aviation and High-Integrity solutions for both commercial and military concepts is showing their latest testing as promising. The company has been testing their GPS receivers in a variety of munitions.
What this means on the battlefield is the weapon can receive updated information via satellite and in turn alter is course in order to strike more accurately.
