PET TALK: Meet “Rascal” and “Norina”

In tonights edition of ‘Pet Talk’ we meet a cat named Rascal and a older shepherd mix named Norina. First up is Rascal, an orange red Bengal Cat. Bengal cats are known for having a more exotic jungle look to them and with his distinct coloring and striking eyes, Rascal fits the bill. He was surrendered by his owner due to them having allergies and has been at the shelter for almost two months. He’s very friendly with people, but seems to have a harder time with other cats, so it’s probably best that he is the only feline in the household. Next, is Miss Norina, a 6 year old shepherd mix found wondering the streets of Yuma. Norina would make for the perfect house pet. She is a super friendly girl and while she’s not super active, she still enjoys a nice walk on the leash and prefers to spend her time near the water. She does well with other animals, preferably ones that are calm and more subdued like herself. Norina has been at the shelter for a month and is ready to find her forever home. If you are interested in either Rascal or Norina, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday.
