An Ohio mother has come under fire after posting a picture of her infant daughter with a cheek piercing. A day after being posted the Ohio mom began to receive negative feedback including threats of people calling child protective services and even some threats against her very life.

The mom said that it was nothing more than a statement; the photo itself was super imposed. She added a diamond graphic to a picture of her daughter to show others how wrong it is to put earrings on children.
