Woman is shot at while driving; one suspect arrested
Yuma Police Department officers arrested a man on a number of charges after shots were fired from one car to another.
Steven Guajardo, 43, is suspected of being connected to the incident where a 31-year-old was shot at while driving.
Officers said they were called out to the area of Eighth Street and Fifth Avenue at around 1:41 a.m. to reports of two shots fired.
Officers were able to get a description of the suspect’s car and found it in the 3700 block of Eighth Street. They pulled the driver over and detained two men and a woman who were inside the car.
No injuries were reported in this incident and the case is still under investigation.
