A shooting over Memorial Day weekend leaves one person in critical condition.
Early Sunday morning, Yuma Police Department responded to a residential area on south Magnolia Ave. and W.3rd street regarding shots fired. When officers arrived they found a thirty two year old male who was stuck by gun bullets. The victim was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with serious injuries and then transferred to a hospital in Phoenix. A witness tells us there’s been suspicious activity in the area lately and is concerned for residents who have children playing outside. Yuma Police Department is still investigating the situation but encouragers anyone with any information to contact them or remain anonymous by calling 78-crime.
