Man suspected of having sex with horse arrested

A man was allegedly caught on video having sex with a horse and was arrested by Yuma County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Christopherson Maynes, 20, of Dateland is facing bestiality, indecent exposure and animal cruelty.

Deputies said they received a call on Monday at around 4:50 p.m. to the 1400 block of North Catalina Road in reference to an animal cruelty case.

When deputies got there, the owner of the horse claimed Maynes had been caught having sexual intercourse with the mare.

Deputies said they were able to get a hold of video evidence of Maynes.
