Man dies after rollover accident

A man is dead after the SUV he was traveling in rolled over when the driver lost control of the car.

Yuma Police Department officers say alcohol may be a factor in this case.

The driver, a 33-year-old man, lost control of the car causing it to roll off the embankment near the 700 block of Levee Road.

His passenger a 57-year-old ended up getting stuck under the GMC Yukon during the roll over. Officers say he was pronounced dead on scene.

Yuma police officers and firefighters were called out to the area at around 5:37 p.m. on Thursday.
