Namco new owners of Z Fun Factory, reopening this Summer

A popular amusement-water park in Yuma is making a return just in time for summer.

The Z Fun Factory and Waylons Water World in Yuma has been sold to Namco. The new owner, Hitoshi Yoshida, president and CEO of Namco USA,plans to open the park by Memorial Day weekend.

Namco is known for creating classic arcade games like Pac-Man, Galaga and other favorites but a source tells us this might be the first water park the company works with.

We’re also told local management has been hired and will be flown to Chicago for training. This story is developing, with more updates coming in our Friday newscasts.
