Yuma officers looking for gunmen involved in shooting

The Yuma Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night on Magnolia Avenue. YPD said officers were in the area of Third Street and Magnolia Avenue at 9:54 p.m. when they heard several gunshots.

Officers said they made a traffic stop and interviewed someone in reference to the drive by shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.

During the investigation officers received reports of shots being fired possibly between two vehicles and both vehicles fled the scene. There is no vehicle description at this time.
There have been no reported injuries or damages at the time of this release.
The case is still under investigation.
