Border visitors react to border wall design proposals

Hundreds of companies submitted their designs for President Trump’s U.S-Mexico border wall. The designs range from the standard wire-mesh wall, to a wall adorned with decorations such as seashells, and even a solar panel wall.

Locally, some border visitors say the design of the wall is important, but also say they are most concerned about the functionality of the wall.

The next step is for the government to select finalists from these designs. These finalists are said to be announced in June.
