Not long after capitol hill announced cuts to public access television a group of Youtubers reacted quickly creating a video that has since gone viral.
Since Wednesday, the video has been viewed more than 11 million times. The video is a parody showing the Sesame Street character Elmo being fired.
The video is a reaction to cuts to the Corporation of Public Broadcasting which oversees several educational shows aimed at children.
These shows include Sesame Street, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and several others.
