New Quechan Tribe Council Members sworn in nearly two months after election

Walking in with sounds of celebration, it was a traditional start to a Fort Yuma Quechan Tribe Meeting. Meetings since early December have not been as celebratory as some tribe members say their former council challenged their recent election. However, the anticipation was fulfilled as the newly-elected council was finally sworn in Friday morning.
