Wind advisory on I-8 goes into effect from Imperial County to San Diego County

A wind advisory has been put into effect on Interstate-8 near Ocotillo to El Cajon near San Diego according to the Caltrans website.

Campers, trailers and permit loads are recommended to stay off the road due to the strong winds.

The advisory is from the SR-98 exit ramp to about about 12 miles east of El Cajon.
