Special Delivery To Help Area Kids

Foothills Cruisers’ member Richard Craig tells us that the idea to hold an event aimed at helping area kids came about as they were looking for a non-profit to help. This year, was the second annual Teddy Bear Car Show and they hope they’ll more to come; the event asked for donations from the public and money raised goes to future projects. Their first delivery was in San Luis where members gathered at the police department; two trucks full of stuffed animals were donated to police. Those toys will be handed out to officers in the field who will then give them to children in crisis. Their next delivery will be to Yuma’s hospital where the toys will go to comfort children receiving treatment.
