Man arrested for drug charges during search warrant near school

A man was arrested by the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force after officers found 13 grams of cocaine in his home during a search warrant.

Officers say Anival Lira-Galindo, 34, of Somerton is now facing a series of drug charges, including possession of drugs for sale in a drug-free school zone.

The search warrant was served in the 1400 block of North Jennifer Avenue. Officers say they found 21 individually wrapped packages and paraphernalia consistent with street sales.

Galindo could have sold the cocaine for about $650 in the streets, according to officers.
