Attempted homicide leaves victim suffering from multiple stab wounds; local police investigate

Authorities are investigating an aggravated assault incident–leaving an 18-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds.

The Yuma Police Department responded to the Regency Square Apartments at approximately 12:02 a.m. Saturday morning in reference to an aggravated assault.

The initial investigation revealed an 18-year-old male had been stabbed multiple times. Officers performed first aid until rescue personnel arrived. The victim was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center where he is said to be in stable condition.

The suspects are believed to be four Hispanic males. There is no further information at this time.

This case is still under investigation.
