Rural/Metro responds to RV explosion; no flames

Rural/Metro Fire Department officials responded to a RV explosion.

Multiple 911 callers reported the incident at the Riverfront RV Park at 2300 W. Water St. at around 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

Officials say the people who were inside the RV were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center and were later flown out due to their injuries.

Officials say they didn’t see any signs of flames and secured utilities.
