Topic of the Day: Remembering King’s Dream

On the third Monday in January, the United States remembers one of it’s greatest messengers. The holiday falls each year near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday which is January 15th.
Japan and Canada have also set aside days to pay tribute to one of the world’s greatest civil rights leaders. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. did more in his 39 years than most do in a lifetime; Dr. King is remembered for his vision and determination.
He organized peaceful protests to end discrimination and segregation, a fight that would cost him his life. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be remembered as a minister, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and a voice for those to scared to speak up.
