Gasoline poured on woman; man behind bars
A man was arrested for allegedly pouring gasoline on a woman and threatening to light her on fire with a lighter.
Alfonzo Enrique Marquez is suspected of breaking into the woman’s home while she slept.
The incident happened the Friday before New Year’s Eve weekend in the 900 block of Hidalgo Avenue.
Marquez fled before police arrived that night; however, he was arrested the following day.
He was given a cash-only $50,000 bond and is being held for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
