2017 brings you more news

The new year will bring some new and exciting changes to our news programming.

Starting Monday, January 16, 2017, we will be providing our viewers with more news coverage, adding more newscasts to our weekly programming.

This will allow our viewers more chances to watch us throughout the day.

We are debuting the region’s only hour-long 6 p.m. local news program on KSWT 13 On Your Side.

We will also have a live newscast on Telemundo 3 Yuma-El Centro at 5 p.m.

Another exciting change is the addition of a second hour of Sunrise every weekday morning – on FOX from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. and don’t forget, you can watch the latest KYMA newscast anytime on any connected device.

Here is a full list of our local news programming, effective Monday, January 16:

KYMA
Sunrise – 6 a.m.
The Early Edition – 5 p.m.
The Evening Edition – 6 p.m.
Nightside – 10 p.m.
KYMA 6 a.m., 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts will simulcast on ABC 5. We will no longer have ABC 5 News at 5:30 p.m.
