YUMA: City considers $1.4M property sale

The City of Yuma is proposing a new project that promises 100 news jobs for the Yuma community.

On Wednesday, the city council will make a decision on selling 17 acres of surplus real property to a Georgia based company, ST Partners, known commercially as Almark Foods.

ST Partners is planning on building a new food processing plant at the northwest corner of Avenue 4-1/2 E and 36th Street.
