Kennedy Park vandalized, police look for suspects

Vandals damaged wooden rails and spray painted the skate park area at Kennedy Park in Yuma this week.

Yuma Police Department officials say the vandals wrote profanity and wrote ‘Trump’ with spray paint in a skate boarding concrete bowl.

Officers believe the damage was done by one or more suspects between Monday at 3 p.m. and Tuesday at 7 a.m.

It is estimated repairs will cost around $15,000.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the YPD at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous. If your information leads to an arrest you may receive a $1,000 cash reward.
