Reward for Phoenix freeway killing increased
Police have increased a reward for anyone who has information about a freeway shooting that left a 49-year-old woman dead two months ago.
Phoenix police say they’re offering up to $21,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the killing of Dinya Farmer on Sept. 7 on State Route 51.
Police say Farmer called police and said three men were chasing her in a white truck. Farmer was shot and crashed into a median on the freeway. She died at the hospital.
Police say it’s likely the suspects followed Farmer for several miles and that they knew her.
