Saguaro Foundation fears Prop 206 may negatively impact their non-profit
It’s been almost two weeks since Election day and since the passing of Proposition 206.
Proposition 206 will affect all of Arizona by increasing the minimum wage from $8.05 an hour to $12.00 an hour. This will be a gradual increase–in 2017 minimum wage will be $10.00 an hour and gradually increased to $12.00 an hour in 2020. Now, the Saguaro Foundation, a non-profit in Yuma is speaking out saying that this prop may eventually their organization and the local economy.
