Church prepares community mass for Mike Ivers
St. Francis Church is inviting the community to remember Mike Ivers as they prepare to honor his memory with a community mass.
Anyone who would like to share any remembrances about Ivers is encouraged to email only a couple of sentences no later than December 7. The church plans to include them in a handout.
Ivers is the former President and CEO of the Yuma County Community Food Bank and President of Yuma Catholic High School. Ivers, 74, died on October 24th after battling pancreatic cancer.
