Amanda Aguirre gets state award

Former Arizona State Senator and current President and CEO of the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. (RCBH), Amanda Aguirre received the 2016 Elsie Eyer Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) Award.

Aguirre accepted the award in Phoenix on September 30 at the AZPHA 2016 Fall Conference.

The award recognizes people who demonstrate a sustained effort in making sure health services are delivered to underserved communities throughout the Grand Canyon State.

Aguirre has been the President and CEO of RCBH for 25 years.
