Topic of the Day: Rigged Elections

13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts: It’s become the norm in our country’s election process for one of the candidates to imply that the country’s election process is anything less than flawless and sometimes calling it “rigged”. 1948, New York Governor Thomas Dewey lost to Harry Truman; even now that election has been shrouded in conspiracy. 2012, President Obama versus Mitt Romney, the GOP claimed that the elections were corrupted favoring democrats; two years later during the midterm election democrats made the same claim that the elections were rigged in the GOP’s favor. Present day, Presidential Candidate Donald Trump voicing his suspicions that the entire electoral system is completely corrupted. 13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts: What do you think, are the elections rigged?
