13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts: Pat Benatar said it best “Love is a battlefield” and although most relationships end peacefully, some can turn violent and even deadly. The latest report from the National Center of Victims of Crime show that one in every three young adults will be involved in some form of violent altercation with a partner or someone they’ve dated. In a time when technology is rampant attacks are easily spread digitally. Once, online that attack can harm the victim for a lifetime and in some cases those attacks can become physical. Victims advocacy groups are focusing on pre-teens, teens and their parents to be more observant of tall tale signs that a relationship may become violent; some of those signs include a partner who isolates you from family and friends, who is increasingly jealous and checks your phone without permission. 13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts: How do you know when a relationship is becoming dangerous? http://facebook.com/KSWT13
