Topic of the Day: Bob Dylan

13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts: Rock and roll icon Bob Dylan has received many accolades over the six decades that he has been producing music including Grammy’s, Academy Awards, Golden Globes and even being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. Now, the rock legend can add the Nobel Prize to his collection having been selected by the Swedish Academy for his work in literature. Many in the literary world believe that the academy is becoming more mainstream and choosing a musician seems to confirm their predictions. When asked by reporters about their choice, the academy’s secretary Sara Danius said “The times are a-changing perhaps” quoting one of Dylan’s songs. 13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts: Do you think Bob Dylan deserved the Nobel Prize?
