Team USA bags two swimming golds on final day to pass Australia, top medal count

The U.S. picked up a pair of gold medals on Sunday’s swimming finale — in the men’s 1500m freestyle by way of Bobby Finke, and in the women’s 4x100m medley relay (both via world-record times) — bringing them from six swimming golds to eight.
