Keller Williams Realty Yuma to host Dolly Day

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Keller Williams Realty Yuma is hosting a happy hour event inspired by the late Dolly Parton.

The happy hour event, dubbed "Dolly Day," is taking place Friday, September 25, at Sage and Sand, located at 2852 E. 16th Street, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

During the event, Keller Williams said there will be "Dolly Parton music, karaoke, raffles, a signature Dolly-inspired drink, a photo area," and more.

"We work hard, but we also believe in creating opportunities to have fun, connect with our community and give back in meaningful ways," said Connie Sims, Operating Principal of Keller Williams Realty Yuma. "When we realized September 25 gave us the perfect '9 to 5' connection, Dolly Day just seemed like too much fun to pass up. We wanted to create a fun evening for the Yuma community to come together and enjoy themselves, while also using the opportunity to support women and children in our community."

In addition, Keller Williams said those who attend the event are encouraged to bring "new, unopened makeup and hair products, as well as new children's books, which will be donated to Crossroads Mission" to help women and children in the community.

"For us, service doesn't always have to look the same," Sims added. "Sometimes it can be as simple as bringing people together, having a great time and using that opportunity to support people in our community. We'd love to see Yuma show up, have some fun with us and, if they're able, bring something to donate."
