Small business in Yuma holds grand opening ceremony

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - A new small business has joined the Yuma community Saturday.

Yuma Ship N More held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony in cooperation with Arizona Western College's (AWC) Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Yuma Ship N More, located at 2411 S. Fourth Avenue, offers services including passport photos, private mailbox rentals, and acting as a UPS drop-off point.

Owners Michelle and Eric De La Torre have been working on opening up this store for close to a year.

"We are sure that the Yuma community is going to support us, and we're just ready to offer services and offer the best customer service possible to the Yuma community. We're ready to give back," Michelle expressed.

With the grand opening, AWC'S SBDC also reminds everyone to shop local and support small businesses.
