City of Yuma offering sandbags for weekend rain

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The City of Yuma will be having a self-serve sandbag filling station.

The sandbag station will be at the Yuma Civic Center (1440 W. Desert Hills Drive) on Thursday, November 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Friday, November 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rain is expected in Yuma for the weekend starting Friday.

Empty bags will be provided at the sandbag station but shovels are limited.
