Cristina’s Closet holds grand opening for a new resource center

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Cristina's Closet held a grand opening ceremony for their new resource center in Yuma to help people land a job.

The ceremony started at noon, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place at 12:30 p.m., at 2363 S. Kennedy Lane, building 3, in Yuma.

The center will provide job readiness classes, such as resume building, mock interviews, budgeting and more, to help prepare those ready to get back into the workforce.

CEO Cristina McInnes says it's crucial to know the latest skills needed to apply for jobs.

"Getting those resumes up to par to get you the interview and then having a successful interview. Being able to dress so that you can feel confident, and that's what were all about, so it just ties in," McInnes expressed.

McInnes hope to continue to growth of all their programs to continue giving back to the community.
