El Centro Library to host Dr. Seuss Family Night

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - An Imperial Valley library is honoring a famous children's book author and illustrator.

El Centro Library is hosting the Dr. Seuss Family Night Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. to honor Dr. Seuss' birthday.

There will be book readings, raffles and games. There will also be very special guests.

"We are going to have a bunch of characters like Horton and the Cat in the Hat, so you are be able to say hi to all of them," said Carla Mason, El Centro Library director.

The event is free, and the El Centro Library is located at Imperial Avenue and Villa Avenue.
