GoFundMe created for man injured in mobile home fire

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma community is coming together to help a man who was injured in a mobile home fire.

A GoFundMe was created for David Ray, who suffered "severe burns" after his mobile home caught on fire late Tuesday morning.

The GoFundMe says Ray lost not only his home, but also his "possessions and cherished memories."

Organizers of the GoFundMe aim to raise $15,000 to help Ray in his road to recovery, which includes:

  • Medical expenses related to his burn treatment.
  • Temporary housing and essential living expenses.
  • Rebuilding his home and replacing personal belongings.
