Many times the decision to be a stay-at-home parent is an easy one. One doesn't think what could happen if their family dynamic were to change, dramatically.
Whether you know the relationship is coming to an end or you're completely blind-sided. The truth is that life goes on and you'll have to fend for yourself and possibly your children.
That's why Courtney Nelson with the Goodwill Career Center of Yuma says dust off those old contacts and hit the ground running. Nelson, says to re-engage old co-workers, still in your old field.
"Network, network, network" is what Nelson says about getting back into the workforce. Nelson says that those old contacts and your friends and family can make a difference when it comes to your transition.
